Grid stabilization

An LFP battery delivers frequency regulation, peak shaving, and capacity, while the compute load is dispatchable and curtailable on command — flexible resources exactly where the grid needs them, with no large land or transmission upgrades.

AI compute

Liquid-cooled GPUs run interruptible AI inference and flexible training. Workloads are designed to be fully interruptible, so they yield to grid needs instantly and never conflict with service or backup.

Free high-speed internet

A Starlink terminal is part of the package. It carries continuous telemetry for the EMS and the utility — and simultaneously delivers free high-speed internet to the host. Dual-SIM cellular stands by as failover.

Home backup power

On a utility outage the unit islands and supports the host’s critical loads from the battery. A tangible, high-value benefit that makes free siting an easy yes.

A safety core that always runs.

A deterministic rule-based layer protects the service and guarantees backup first; a lightweight economic layer optimizes revenue on top and is overridden the instant it would break a safety rule.

The electric utility owns the unit outright and dispatches it remotely over the built-in Starlink and dual-SIM cellular link.

It sits on your residential or commercial property. You provide the space and a power connection — nothing else.

Installs like an EV charger

240 V hardwired, no plumbing, no Wi-Fi dependency. Built-in connectivity keeps it self-contained.

You get free internet + backup

Instead of a monthly fee, the host receives free high-speed Starlink internet and the ability to use the battery as backup power during outages.

Two ways to wire it

Both start at a bi-directional meter.

Option 2 is preferred: an outdoor disconnect feeds the BPD and the main panel in parallel, so every bit of installation work stays outside the building.

A bi-directional (net) meter is required either way. Whether the meter can signal the EMS directly — or a separate current sensor is needed — is refined with utility engineering partners during the pilot.
